Post breakfast, day 2 is scheduled for an excursion to Kufri, a must-visit place. Placed at an altitude of 2290 m above sea level, Kufri is blessed with tranquility, scenery and is dotted with tourist attractions like Mahasu Peak, Chini Bungalow, Indira Tourist Park, etc. When back in Shimla, visit the Vice Regal Lodge- once the summer residence of various British viceroys, it boasts of an interesting English Renaissance architecture. Thereafter in the evening, enjoy a leisure walk on the Mall Road.

Kufri is a small hill station in the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh state in India. It is located 20 km from the state capital Shimla on National Highway No.22. The name Kufri is derived from the word Kufri meaning “lake” in the local language.

After breakfast on the day, get transferred by road to Manali. En-route visit Kullu. Placed at an altitude of 2050 m above sea level, Manali is a very popular hill station that is flocked by tourists every year in crazy numbers.

Kullu is a municipal council town that serves as the administrative headquarters of the Kullu district of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is located on the banks of the Beas River in the Kullu Valley about 10 kilometers north of the airport at Bhuntar.
 
Visit:- Sundernagar Lake, Pandoh dam, Kullu Vally, Kullu Shawl Industry, and Vaishno Devi Temple.

Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It’s also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting, and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.

Post breakfast, The day is scheduled for enjoying the sights and experiences at Solang Valley/Rohtang Pass. Solang Valley falls on the way to Rohtang Pass and is around 14 km from Manali. Along with its beautiful scenery, the place also offers adventure opportunities like zorbing and para-gliding. The next visit of the day is to Rohtang Pass, covered with snow all around the year, lying at an elevation of 3978 m, it is open from June to October. Enjoy playing with snow here. The day would be filled with fun activities and various mesmerizing sights. adventure sports like Zorbing, Horse Riding, and Snow Motor Bikes riding are also available). Up to Snow Line Rohtang Pass. Rohtang pass depends upon permit availability on the additional cost of vehicle & permit (Tuesday pass is closed).

 

Solang Valley Snow point:- Solang Nala (Valley) derives its name from a combination of the words Solang (Nearby village) and Nallah (water stream). It is a side valley at the top of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India 14 km northwest of the resort town Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass, and is known for its summer and winter sport conditions. The sports most commonly offered are parachuting Paragliding, Skating, Zorbing. Giant slopes of lawn comprise Solang Valley and provide its reputation as a popular ski resort.

 

Rohtang pass:- The pass provides a natural divide between the Kullu Valley with a primarily Hindu culture (in the south), and the arid high-altitude Lahaul and Spiti valleys with a Buddhist culture (in the north). On the southern side of this pass, the Beas River emerges from underground and flows southward and on its northern side, the Chandra River (flows from the eastern Himalayas), a source stream of the river Chenab, flows westward.
